BMA lab: Machine Learning for instruments and Live Audio in Max – gnration – Braga – 11/11/23
After a first introduction to Max, sound artist Rodrigo Constanzo takes us again to discover this audio production software.
This workshop will focus on the exploration of Machine Learning in the context of real-time and low-latency applications. The workshop will specifically use and explore SP-Tools, a set of Machine Learning tools for drums and percussion, but also applicable to other instruments and audio input types (guitar, voice, flute, etc.). Rodrigo Constanzo will also share some Machine Learning concepts in the context of music production through the Fluid Corpus Manipulation (FluCoMa) extension for Max.
Some prior knowledge of Machine Learning is helpful, but not essential. To get the most out of the workshop, the participant should have an intermediate (to advanced) knowledge of Max.
